Obey Awareness is a charitable program founded by artist, designer, and activist Shepard Fairey as the philanthropic arm of the Obey Clothing Company. Obey Awareness donates 100% of net profits from special clothing lines to non-profits. As part of the initiative, Fairey creates custom graphics and t-shirts to sell online, raising funds for charitable organizations while also educating the public about causes he personally feels passionate about supporting. Fairey is partnering with Children Incorporated (CI) to create a limited-edition t-shirt based on photography of CI’s sponsored children in Ethiopia.
